Doc Watson
Singer/songwriter, Doc Watson performed tonight at The Paramount Theater. It was my first time seeing Mr. Watson and I was blessed with the opportunity. Recipient of the National Medal of Arts, National Heritage Fellowship and seven Grammy Awards (including Lifetime Achievement), Doc Watson is legendary. A powerful singer and tremendously influential picker who virtually invented the art of playing mountain fiddle tunes on the flattop guitar, Watson blends traditional Appalachian music with bluegrass, country, gospel and blues, creating a unique style and expansive repertoire.

4th of July at Mom and Dad’s
Mom had a little fun with the cucumber out of my garden. There is nothing like the 4th of July for a family to get together and celebrate my brother Greg’s latest speeding ticket.
Caryn leads the way outside to the backyard.
…….someone is revisiting his childhood
……Caryn wondering why “Uncle Rob” won’t put down the camera and push her in the swing
(my uncle will not let me eat without taking a photograph)
Caryn’s quest for the Holy Grail is now complete.
…..flirting with Uncle Rob
Not flirting anymore………just a big tease!!!
Happy 4th of July to everyone!!!
