I had the pleasure of photographing Sally Hart in action and she nothing less than a wonderful teacher. If you have kids that are interested in ballet, you will be thoroughly impressed with her instruction. It was such a treat to spend time with Sally and her students!

ah, wedding planning. most of you reading this blog are in the same position i am right now… decisions, decisions, decisions… there are just so many fabulous ideas, locations, vendors, narrowing them down to make your day special and unique to reflect you as a couple, and fit within the budget, can be quite a task.
the first things i took care of were the big items… location, food, music, and of course… photography. the location was probably the biggest challenge because we wanted something truly unique. i am in love with all the vineyards in the area, king family are good friends of mine, we met at veritas, pollock is gorgeous, but as much as i love each of these locations i just couldn’t get past the fact i had seen so many weddings there. i had this grand vision of a barn, a big open field with a big open barn. I asked around and fallowed a couple leads i had to some local private locations and found some incredible places around the county. after looking at several different places we decided on a friends farm toward scotsville and i couldnt be more excited. there are beautiful gardens all around, lots of raised beds, open fields with hay bales, and some really neat outbuildings around the property. if the weather holds we will have everything outside, a garden wedding with dinner at long tables in the field. we are going for a vintage/garden feel and have picked colors of orange, yellow and green. i have lots and lots of craft ideas i will be sharing with you along the way… stay tuned, lots more info to come!
