Meg Runion, associate photographer, received her BS in biology from James Madison University. She combines her rich creative background with her distinctive documentary-style photography to make her an integral member of Rob Garland Photographers. Her style allows for a collection of timeless moments, both subtle and dramatic, to capture the most essential moments of a wedding.

As an inducted member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), Meg received prominent recognition in tow of their recent international competitions, placing her among the top wedding photographers. Part of her unique style is due to her studies and masters-level workshops with top photographers from around the world.

Not only is Meg a veteran member of the photography community, she expands and strengthens her artistic approach by reaching ceramics in an after school program for middle school-age youths. She is also a volunteer for the annual Virginia Artisans' Tour, which showcases the professional studio work of artists in Virginia.
